November blog feedback and learner response
WWW: I like your answers to the first 10 questions – particularly you continuing to study it at A-Level after studying it at GCSE! I am glad that you have high aspirations of yourself with wanting to achieve an A for A-Level. The level of detail in all your blogs is very impressive - in particular the Reading an image blog task you sophisticatedly use a variety of media terminology when analysing the RBK 50 Cent advert
Next steps:
In order to achieve top grades you need to be completing A/A* extension tasks in blogs e.g the narrative blog task
Correct your spelling of the blog title Psychographics
Learner response: Correct the above and then answer the questions below:
Reflect on your work in A Level Media so far:
What is your strongest piece of work?
I feel like my strongest piece of work would be finishing all the blog tasks on time and in detail
What is your weakest?
My weakest work would be attempting or doing the extension works that had been given to get me to an A/A* grade.
What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?
The specific skills or knowledge that I need to develop over the rest of the course is to work on my timings during exam and try practice questions to help me improve during timed questions. Also, I need to recap the topics that we did in lesson, especially the ones that I didn't learn for GCSE.
